Rugbytots

Rugbytots is the first of its kind; a specifically designed play programme using the multiple skills of Rugby to create a fun and enjoyable environment whilst developing basic core motor skills.

Every aspect of the programme has been designed to be coached in an enthusiastic manner. This ensures that children maintain focus and enjoyment during the session; it also means that the children's skill levels progress at a rapid rate. Whether the next step for your child is mini-rugby or ballet, Rugbytots aims to provide the fundamental foundations that will enable your child to progress with confidence.

The game of Rugby offers a wide variation of skills that are useful in a number of sports and different walks of life. For example, the Rugbytots programme focuses on ball handling, passing, catching, kicking and maintaining balance and agility. Furthermore, great emphasis is placed on the development of social skills; such as sharing, listening to instructions, taking turns and working as a team.

In addition to establishing these basic motor skills, the programme cannot help but to gently encourage Rugby specific skills such as running with the ball in two hands, finding space, passing the ball backwards, scoring try's and movement after passing.

It is our fundamental belief at Rugbytots that any play session or class is only as good as the coach who takes it. It is for this reason we only select coaches who have a genuine interest and skills for encouraging child development and providing the highest level of coaching.

Rugbytots Mission: To create a structured, energetic and fun environment, giving children the opportunity to develop core motor skills whilst focusing on Rugby specific activities.
