Rugbytots Spain
Rugbytots Spain will launch in February 2009 and we will be seeking to build on the success of Rugbytots in the UK. The first areas in Spain to offer the Rugbytots experience will be in Andalucia. We will be opening in Malaga, Marbella, Sotogrande and El Puerto de Santa Maria. Our venues will offer both indoor and outdoor facilities, changing rooms and refreshment areas. We are keen to emphasise the social aspects of Rugbytots both for children and parents and this has been an important factor in our choice of site.
Rugbytots in Spain will be run by Guy Leleu. Guy was Head of P.E. at Aloha College for six years and has played and coached rugby to a high level both in the UK and in Spain. His background in rugby and education make him the ideal person to spread the Rugbytots message of using rugby to teach key physical and social skills in a fun and structured environment.
The principle of having fun while learning is the main ingredient in the success of Rugbytots and the benefits that children gain from Rugbytots sessions include improved coordination and spatial awareness, increased self-confidence and the development of basic social skills. Children who have benefited from the Rugbytots experience will find that the skills they have learned and their increased confidence levels will provide them with an excellent foundation for success and enjoyment in any other activities that they make take up in the future.
The enthusiasm and ability of the coach is paramount to ensuring successful sessions and all Rugbytots Spain coaches will be experienced and qualified, hold a First Aid certificate ( Primer Auxilio award) and will be police checked. They will also speak both English and Spanish.
All children and parents participating in Rugbytots will be fully covered by our specialist insurance.
